11me is a product of Extrava LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Connecticut, United States (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the 11me web application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information — name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed via Clerk).
  • Profile and CV data — work experience, education, skills, target roles, salary preferences, location, LinkedIn URL, portfolio URL, and any other professional information you enter into your profile.
  • Job application data — URLs of job postings you evaluate, evaluation results, tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation materials generated by the Service.
  • STAR interview stories — interview stories and career narratives you create or that the AI generates from your CV.
  • Auto-apply settings — phone number, LinkedIn URL, and preferences you configure for automated application submission.
  • Payment information — billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications — messages you send to our support team.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, evaluation counts, scanner activity, and interaction timestamps.
  • Device and browser data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies — essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account and provide access to the Service.
  • To generate AI-powered job evaluations, tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation materials.
  • To run the automated job scanner and deliver matched job opportunity notifications.
  • To execute auto-apply submissions on your behalf when enabled and authorized by you.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription plan.
  • To send transactional and product notifications you have opted into (job matches, evaluation results, auto-apply status).
  • To enforce usage limits, detect abuse, and maintain platform integrity.
  • To improve the quality and accuracy of the Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI Processing of Your Data

11me uses third-party AI models (including Anthropic’s Claude) to analyze job descriptions alongside your CV and profile data. Your information is transmitted to these AI providers solely to generate evaluation results, resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation materials on your behalf.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models.The AI providers process data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We encourage you to review Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

4. Auto-Apply Data Use

If you enable the Auto-Apply feature, the Service may use your name, email address, phone number, resume, and cover letter to automatically submit job applications on your behalf. You authorize this data use by enabling the feature and configuring your auto-apply settings. You may disable auto-apply at any time from your settings page.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Browserbase (browser automation for auto-apply). Each provider is bound by data processing agreements and may only use data to provide their respective services.
  • Auto-apply submissions — when you authorize auto-apply, your application materials are submitted directly to employer ATS systems or career pages on your behalf.
  • Legal compliance — when required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets. We will notify affected users before such a transfer and allow you to delete your account.
  • Protection of rights — when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Extrava LLC, our users, or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and job application history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law, for fraud prevention, or for legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution.

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption in transit via TLS for all data transfers.
  • Encrypted database connections via Neon’s managed PostgreSQL infrastructure.
  • Secure, token-based authentication managed by Clerk.
  • Strict access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information and are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from actions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data.
  • Portability — request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Opt-out of communications — unsubscribe from non-essential emails via the link in any email or through your notification settings.
  • Restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. The Service may contain links to third-party websites and employer career pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party site. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, by sending an email notification to your registered address.
